PhD days

Established by the Doctoral Board of the XXVI cycle. It is an event, still active and of high interest for both students and teachers; all the PhD students of each active cycle are active in this event, having the possibility to discuss about their own research activities with stimulating discussions.

After the institutional greetings from the President of the Polytechnic Basic Sciences School, the Director of the Department of Chemical Sciences and the PhD School Coordinator, the PhD students present at the beginning of their studies the research project they intend to address, or the research carried out and the results obtained during the year, in form of oral communication (presentation of the project, at the end of the second year and third year) or of a poster (at the end of the first year).

Convivial moments are guaranteed, coffee breaks and light lunches, sometimes generously offered by companies interested in the research activities carried out in the Department, thus financing specivig PhD projects.

A new award was established since XXXII cycle for the top two/three posters.

Carrier Days

These are dedicated to the students of the master courses of Polytechnic Basic Sciences School. Several companies of diverse sectors are present to illustrate their activities together with Doctorate Schools

They are held annually in march/april

Doctorate schools present their activities in dedicated desks with videos to illustrate the current research projects. PhD students and recent PhDs are present as testimonials

workshops for PhD students

workshops are organized yearly by the doctorate schools of Campania of chemical science. The workshop aims at disseminating scientific and technological advances in the field of sustainability and circular economy. Target participants are Ph. D. or graduate students in Chemistry and chemistry-related subjects. The program includes lectures by leading international scientists, oral communications and discussion and poster sessions.
