Piano Lauree Scientifiche - Chemistry

The "Piano Laure Scientifiche" Program (PLS) - Chemistry is a national initiative aimed at promoting university orientation activities, education, and training in the field of chemistry, involving secondary school students, teachers, and university students in the early years of their academic journey.

At the University of Naples Federico II, the PLS-Chemistry offers a rich program of activities each year, including experimental laboratories, seminars, summer schools, and competitions. The goal is to stimulate interest in chemistry through inquiry-based teaching methods, promoting active, interdisciplinary learning connected to the social and economic dimensions of the discipline.

Thanks to the close collaboration between the various PLS initiatives within the University, a network of joint activities has been developed over time, characterized by an innovative and collaborative approach that has been highly successful among students and teachers.

The PLS-Chemistry coordinator is Prof. Oreste Tarallo (plschimica@unina.it).
