Peer Commission Docents-Students
The Joint Teaching-Student Committee (CPDS) is one of the key bodies in the University's Quality Assurance system for teaching. Every year, it writes a report on the Degree Programmes of the Department, analyzing a wide range of data, including student opinions, review reports, and data from SUA-CdS and AlmaLaurea. The report gives feedback on the weaknesses of each Degree Programme and suggests actions to improve the quality of teaching. The CPDS, established in every Department, is made up equally of teachers and students and aims to represent all the Degree Programmes of the Department. Working together is an opportunity to improve the quality of the courses and enhance students' academic experience, ensuring a more effective and inclusive learning environment.
The main functions include:
- Monitoring the educational offer, the quality of teaching, and the support activities provided to students by professors and researchers;
- Giving opinions on the launch or possible closure of bachelor's and master's degree programmes, changes to academic regulations, and any other matter related to teaching;
- Checking students' satisfaction with individual courses, other training activities, and the Degree Programmes as a whole;
- Acting as a permanent observatory on guidance, tutoring, and student mobility activities.
