To be able to follow profitably the Master degree in Chemistry (Laurea Magistrale in Scienze Chimiche, LM-54) students must possess a Bachelor Degree in one of the following classes:

L-27, (Scienze e Tecnologie Chimiche), Italian Ministerial Decree no. 270/04

L-21, (Scienze e Tecnologie Chimiche), Italian Ministerial Decree no. 509/99.

Students holding a degree of another class obtained at a Italian university, as well as those who hold another qualification obtained abroad and recognized as suitable, can also access to study course, provided that the following curricular requirements are met: possession of degrees that allow the acquisition of at least 20 credits (CTU)  of courses in the field of mathematical disciplines, physics and computer science, and at least 30 credits (CTU) of courses in chemical disciplines, with particular, but not exclusive, reference to the sectors CHEM-01/A, CHEM-02/A, CHEM-03/A, CHEM05/A and BIOS-07/A (i.e. Analytical, Physical, Inorganic, Organic and Biological Chemistry respectively).

In the case of students graduated in foreign universities, the adequacy of curricular requirements is assessed on a case-by-case basis, on the grounds of the consistency between the programs carried out in the different subject areas, the educational bases considered necessary for the advanced training offered by the CdS, as well as language skills. The methods for verifying such a preparation are defined in these teaching regulations and in any case checked only after verification of the possession of curricular requirements. In any case, the required knowledge must be possessed before enrolment.

A further admission requirement is the knowledge of the English language at least at level B1 to enroll in the curriculum in Italian (Scienze Chimiche), while a further admission requirement to enroll in the curriculum in English (Chemical Sciences) is the possession of an adequate knowledge of the English language (minimum B2 level required). The knowledge of the English language knowledge of level B2 should be demonstrated by showing an internationally recognized B2 level certificate or will be assessed through an evaluation procedure defined by the CdS.

Pre-evaluation of past university career

For the admission to the Master CdS in Chemical Sciences, the individual preparation of the enrolling students which are in possession of curricular requirements is verified according to the following procedure:

>For those who hold a degree of class L27 or L21, the adequacy of the preparation is considered verified with the achievement of the degree with a grade equal to or higher than 93/110. In the event of a degree grade lower than 93/110 for classes L27 and L21, or in the case of possession of another degree and of the credits indicated in the admission requirements to the Master's Degree Course, the enrolment  is subject to the assessment of an adequate individual preparation by a Didactic committee properly designed.

> For an appraisal of the past university career. Applications should be sent to segrmmffnn@unina.it ("Area Didattica di Scienze MFN-Complesso Universitario di Monte S. Angelo) or to the coordinator of the study course (ccdscienzechimiche@unina.it). Applications should include the study plan, courses and activities already carried out.
