Enrollment
The enrollment procedure consists of a mandatory admission test, which is not selective but involves the assignment of Additional Educational Obligations (OFA) in the case of insufficient entry requirements, as established by the Educational Coordination Commission. The test consists of a multiple-choice questionnaire covering topics in Mathematics, Science, Logic, and Verbal Comprehension. Further information regarding the test can be found on the CISIA website, where (a) a practice link is available; (b) the test schedule (conducted by reservation from February to November through an online procedure (TOLC-I), to be completed in designated university venues).
Test schedules and additional details can be found on the dedicated website of the Polytechnic School and the School of Basic Sciences.
Failure to pass the test does not limit the opportunity to enroll in the Industrial Chemistry Degree Program, but it results in the assignment of an educational debt, which can be cleared by passing the Mathematics exam before undertaking any other exams. The educational debt may also be cleared by passing the TOLC-I on dates that will be made available after enrollment, by November. Please note that it is statistically proven that individuals who do not pass the self-assessment test have a lower likelihood of successfully completing the Industrial Chemistry Degree (dropout rates are close to 70%).
CONTRACT PROPOSALS
Four- or five-year contracts have been introduced to reduce the academic workload per semester for working students and/or those facing other challenging circumstances. These agreements are formalized upon enrollment with the academic office, offering students the opportunity to complete the required credits for their chosen degree program within a period longer than the standard duration.
